As public pension budgets face increasing strain, the European Commission has identified pension tracking systems as a key tool to support individuals in planning for retirement. This forms an important pillar of its recent Supplementary Pensions Package. But what does a truly effective pension tracking system look like?
EFAMA hosted an online discussion on Europe’s national pension tracking systems. This was the third webinar in our pension series, following our session on practical insights from the US pension system.
In this session, leading experts examined the models developed in Sweden, Denmark and Belgium, sharing practical lessons on what works and what can be applied across Europe. This was followed by an interactive debate between the panelists and the audience, offering participants the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers.
